Monthly Update from TechWorks CEO, Alan Banks

26th October 2020 | News

Welcome to the October TechWorks CEO update. I would like to personally thank all our members who have continued to support us and collaborate with each other during these testing times. The TechWorks membership has shown great resilience and ambition to stabilise the UK economy.

Our members continue to do great things in their respective fields. For example, Jaltek Systems were recognised for their work at the Make UK Regional Manufacturing Awards. We are continuously proud of our membership and we are always looking to share their success stories.

This month we seen the launch of the IoTSF Vulnerable Things platform which is a user-friendly coordinated vulnerability disclosure management and reporting service for security researchers and consumer IoT manufacturers. Meanwhile, AESIN announced that they are part of Zenzic’s UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030, along with naming the new Chair and Co-Chair of the ADAS & HAV Workstream – congratulations Tim Edwards (HORIBA MIRA) and Gunny Dhadyalla (WMG). NMI Manufacturing and NMI Electronics Systems continue to support and communicate frequently with industry in order to advance their respective sectors.

Thank you for your continued support and your strength throughout these most difficult of times, I look forward to continuing to collaborate, innovate and communicate with you all.

Stay safe.
