CSA Catapult Joins the Automotive Electronic Systems Innovation Network (AESIN) Executive Steering Board

AESIN has announced that Chief Executive Officer for the Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult – Stephen Doran, has joined its Executive Steering Board.

Doran brings over 25 years of experience in the global electronics markets, successfully developing and delivering many new products ranging from mixed signal audio processors to complex multimedia smartphones.

Prior to joining the CSA Catapult, Stephen held numerous senior leadership roles in high technology companies including Wolfson Microelectronics, Motorola and most recently Raytheon Systems where he held the position of Director of Operations and Transformation.

His current position as the CEO of the CSA Catapult sees him lead the strategic direction of the Catapult, driving its approach to accelerate UK industry’s ability to exploit advancements in compound semiconductor technologies.

The AESIN Steering Board has in excess of 25 members from across the most innovative organisations in the industry. The addition of Stephen further adds to the expertise and breadth of the board; which throughout the year tackle current challenges and identify opportunities across the automotive electronics industry.

This is delivered through a range of Industry led activities including dedicated Worktreams which align with the strategic priorities and vision of the Automotive Council UK helping build a growing and sustainable Automotive sector.
